Gerard Way, vocalista del grupo rock del momento, "My Chemical Romance", dio una pequeña entrevista donde habla sobre Britney Spears esto fue lo que dijo:
"A lot of people might say that Britney Spears is the biggest idiot of the year, but she is kind of my hero too!" Way told Kerrang! "I think that shaving her head was awesome, that was one of my highlights of the year! I thought she looked great, and I totally got it.""I have had a lot of moments where I can identify with her," continues Way. "Sometimes you just wanna shave your head and be covered in your own shit, running through the streets, being crazy. You wanna be fucking locked up!"
"Mucha gente podría decir que Britney Spears es la mayor idiota del año, pero ella es mi tipo de héroe también!" dijo Way a Kerrang!
